Eamonn Holmes' new girlfriend is reportedly ‘smitten’ with him after just months of dating. Presenter Eamonn hit the headlines back in May when he and wife Ruth Langsford shockingly announced they would be splitting after 14 years of marriage.

Just a few months later, Eamonn was spotted heading out on dates with relationship counsellor Katie Alexander.The pair have been spotted spending time together, and even went away on a Mediterranean cruise.

Now, a source has told Heat magazine, “Katie is telling everyone that she's totally smitten and in love.They've known each other for nine years, so this isn't a fly-by-night relationship - she's in it for the long haul.” Katie, who is a mother of three, first struck up a friendship with Eamonn via Twitter back in 2015.The insider added that the pair are also reportedly thinking about relocating to the TV star's native Belfast.They said: "They're now looking at places to move in together, as they want a lot more space.
