Eamonn Holmes has clapped back at those turning on him over his outspoken views on the Phillip Schofield scandal after they appeared to spot a fresh 'swipe'.

The GB News host has been more than vocal with his thoughts on the headlines involving his former colleague. Phillip, 61, quit This Morning last month before later stepping back from ITV altogether after admitting to lying to his co-host and friend Holly Willoughby as well as his employers about a secret relationship with a much younger ITV colleague.

After taking part in two bombshell interviews with The Sun and the BBC, Eamonn blasted the "lies" admitted to by his former co-star during his GB News breakfast show with co-star Isabel Webster.

He also took aim at Holly ahead what was a tearful return to This Morning as she issued statement, putting in a scathing dig: "You think she's got a big mouth?
