Eamonn Holmes' first spat with Katie Alexander has allegedly come to light, and it's connected to Ruth Langsford.The GB News presenter, 64, embarked on a lavish cruise with his new partner Katie Alexander, 42, over the weekend, while Ruth, also 64, returned to ITV on Monday to present Loose Women.

As the fresh couple savour their initial trip abroad, reports suggest they've already had their first disagreement despite only being together for a short period.Eamonn, who declared his split from his wife of 14 years in May, has reportedly been trying to keep his dates with Katie to a minimum before their romantic escape. "Katie wants the world to see they're a couple but Eamonn is keeping things low-key at the moment," an insider revealed to Women's Own."Eamonn is thrilled about their relationship but he wants to remain respectful by not going public yet." Another source reiterated: "Katie just wants to get it over and done with but Eamonn is less keen because he doesn't want to hurt Ruth's feelings", reports the Mirror.

The former This Morning host was spotted at Barcelona port with Katie over the weekend, preparing to embark on a journey together.

Eamonn was seen on a mobility scooter while Katie strolled beside him.Ruth, who parted ways with Eamonn earlier this year, has been seen wearing her wedding ring on various occasions post-separation announcement, and she donned it yet again on Monday.
