Eamonn Holmes has been spotted out with his new girlfriend following his shock split from wife Ruth Langsford earlier this year .The TV presenter, 66, was seen on a trip to his home county, Carrickfergus in Northern Ireland, with his reported new girlfriend, counsellor Katie Alexander.

The former This Morning star, 64, and Katie, 42, were seen frequenting the same restaurant for four days on the trot - and now, a staff member has revealed a hidden insight into the rumoured new couple, following their trip.

A staff member who works at the American-style diner, Papa Brown’s, said of the happy pair: "He came in four days in a row. I noticed his girlfriend had an English accent.They looked happy.” They told The Sun: "He appeared quite frail and it took a minute to recognise him, but he was always very polite and friendly.

Both of them appeared at ease with being seen together. Eamonn really enjoyed it.” GB News presenter Eamonn is said to have met counsellor Katie back in 2015, after she commented on one of his social media posts and the pair got chatting.
