Eamonn Holmes hilariously revealed that he was in his wife Ruth Langsford's "bad books" after asking an "innocent question".The 62 year old television presenter, who recently transformed a bedroom at his and Ruth's Surrey mansion, took to Twitter over the weekend to reveal how he accidentally started a row with Ruth.
He tweeted: "Little could I have imagined that a simple question asked out loud like 'Where do we keep the Eggcups?' would have got the day off to such a fractious start. "Sorry I asked," Eamonn added alongside a series of confused face emojis to the post, which sparked debate with many seeing Ruth's point of view. "You should know where your egg cups are," one person replied.
Eamonn responded in defence: "They weren't where I would put them ..... but that led to a wider conversation unfortunately." Another recalled a similar story, penning: "Last week my husband asked me where he'd find a clean dishcloth.
I answered by pointing at the same drawer they've been kept in for the last 20 years. I was too busy preparing dinner for 14 people to stab him."
