Dumbarton mum shaves hair off in memory of brother-in-law

A Dumbarton #mum has braved the shave for the Vale Hospital in loving memory of her brother-in-law.Lynne Frize has just completed a charity hair cut – having her flowing locks cut off in memory of brother-in-law Brian Frize who sadly lost his life to cancer two years ago.Brave Lynne managed to raise about £200 for charity thanks to her sponsored shave.The sponsorship money she received from the haircut is being donated to the dialysis unit in the Vale of Leven hospital which is where Brian got his treatment.Her hair was donated to the Little Princess Trust which is a charity that specialises in donating hair to children and young people who have lost it to cancer and other conditions.Lynne said: “Unfortunately, Brian passed away from cancer two years ago he will be sadly missed by everyone.“He was a great genuine person who was full of fun and wit who had a great sense of humour.

He was the life and soul of the party and always cracking jokes.“I was emotional and overwhelmed doing the headshave but was proud as it was in memory of such a great guy who I was proud to call my brother-in-law.“I had massive support from my husband and Brian’s brother James, Brian’s sister Helen Campbell and Gemma from Omni Hair and beauty who did the shave.“She was fantastic and supported me from start to finish and gave me great feedback telling me how brave I was.“My family and friends are very proud of me while I’m also proud of my achievements.”
