She sings about those personal experiences, where women find themselves feeling unsafe in certain situations purely because of the fact they are a woman, on her album Future Nostalgia.Said situations could be where women feel like they have to hide their figures, are called out for their clothing being too short or are maybe afraid to walk home on their own late at night.
