Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

Driver who died after M9 police car chase named

A man who died in a horror crash on the M9 motorway, after being pursued by police has been named.Declan Connell, aged 27, tragically passed away following the incident on the M9 between junction 8 and 9 on Sunday, July 7 at around 11:50am.Declan, from Falkirk, was driving a white Vauxhall Corsa southbound on the motorway, when it veered off the road and landed down an embankment.

Emergency services attended and Mr Connell was pronounced dead at the scene. Two male passengers in the car, aged 19 and 20, were taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital to be checked over.The circumstances surrounding the collision have been referred to the Police Investigations and Review Commissioner.The road was closed while officers carried out investigation work and partially re-opened around 10.30pm.
