And the drink drive suspect has two previous convictions for the offence - and had only just got his licence back -said Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
GMP Traffic officers arrested the motorist near Urmston on suspicion on drink driving this evening. It is alleged he narrowly avoided a head on collision with another car whilst drinking beer from a can.
GMP traffic officers stopped the vehicle and breathalysed the suspect found to be over the drink driver limit at 108mg. The legal limit is 80mg.
