Driver crashes £30,000 sports car just two days after winning it in dream giveaway

A man who won a £30,000 sports car wrote it off just two days later. Adam Griffiths bagged the Mitsubishi Evo IX and £1,000 in the Dream Car Giveaways competition on April 26.

The following day the 27-year-old travelled 90 miles to collect his prize, Wales Online reported. Just two days after that he smashed the motor while driving in Pontypridd, causing himself and the passenger minor injuries in the process.

Adam, from Rhydyfelin, said: "It's my fault, I hurt myself in this crash and I've got to deal with the consequences. Do you have a story to share?
