Drinkers 'will visit pub 6,000 times in their lifetime and order 12,000 rounds'

Drinkers will visit the pub more than six THOUSAND times during their lifetime - enjoying 7,786 pints of lager and 5,579 packets of crisps along the way.

The study of 1,000 pub goers found they will hear 'time' called on 1,728 occasions and, those who generously tend to buy a round, will do so almost 12,000 times.

But 21 per cent admitted they NEVER get the drinks in. Over the course of their lifetime, pub goers will enjoy 6,131 pints of cider, 3,372 pints of shandy and 6,499 pints of real ale - not forgetting the 3,433 packets of pork scratchings.
