Good Morning Britain 's resident doctor, Dr Hilary, called coronavirus vaccinations trials, which begin tomorrow, "very encouraging" as he explained how they could work.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly on Wednesday morning, Dr Hilary said the human trials, which would protect people against the virus, were still in the "early stages" but were "good news". "There's 80 different groups around the world trying to find a vaccine as soon as is humanly possible," he said. "In reality it will probably be next year, rather than anything available this year.
