Wishing Kate a happy birthday today, she said: "As far as we know with Derek, he is stable. "He is not getting any worse which is good.
He is in the best place." She added: "It has been so tough for them. "This birthday has been delayed until Derek is back, which is hopefully very very soon." This comes after Ben Shephard gave his best wishes to Kate has she his forced to spend the day away from her critically ill husband.
