ok.co.ukDr Alex George has revealed the brutal realities of battling the coronavirus on the NHS frontline as he bravely admitted he cries after shifts.The 29 year old, who recently gave fans a tour of the NHS resuscitation room at University Hospital Lewisham, appeared on the Lorraine show this morning to speak to Dr Hillary Jones on how the gruelling hours are impacting his mental health.
Discussing what it's been like for him personally, he confessed: "Sometimes it’s tough, I would be lying if I didn’t say I shed a tear or two when I get home." Luckily, the former Love Islander has a good support system around him with the help of his girlfriend Amelia Bath, 25, as well as the hospital wellbeing group.
