Donny van de Beek gives impressions of Man Utd playing style after first defeat

Donny van de Beek appeared far from impressed with what he saw from his Manchester United teammates as his home debut ended in defeat to Crystal Palace.

The £40m summer signing from Ajax started on the bench, but was introduced to the fold by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after 67 minutes with United 1-0 down.

He made a positive impression, hitting back with a goal after Palace had made it 2-0 with a controversial penalty, but ultimately he was unable to prevent a 3-1 defeat.

And speaking after the game he bemoaned the speed of United's build-up play, insisting they must do better in the future. "My first match for the club and then you want to win," Van de Beek said. "It doesn't matter how you want to win. "I'm really disappointed that we lose
