Donald Trump Appoints Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo And Laura Ingraham To Kennedy Center Board
deadline.comDonald Trump said Friday that he has appointed Fox News’ Laura Ingraham and Maria Bartiromo to the board of the Kennedy Center, filling out the board with more of his supporters.
Trump wrote on Truth Social, “I am thrilled to announce that Laura Ingraham and Maria Bartiromo will be joining our Kennedy Center Board – This completes our selection.
We look forward to restoring the Center to Greatness, and ushering in America’s Golden Age. Together, we will Make the Arts Great Again!” Last month, Trump ousted board members who were appointed by his predecessor, Joe Biden, breaking with a long tradition of retaining board members for six-year terms.
The board, then filled with Trump appointees, elected the president as the Kennedy Center’s chairman, another first, ousting philanthropist David Rubenstein.
