Donald Glover Raves Over Writing with 'Amazingly Talented' Malia Obama on New Series

While attending the season three premiere of Atlanta, the 38-year-old actor/rapper gushed over working with Malia, 23, on his upcoming Amazon series. Click inside to read more… “She’s just like, an amazingly talented person,” Donald shared with Vanity Fair. “She’s really focused, and she’s working really hard.” Donald tapped Malia to work as a writer on the upcoming series, potentially titled Hive, which is reportedly about a Beyonce-esque character. “I feel like she’s just somebody who’s gonna have really good things coming soon,” Donald added. “Her writing style is great.” Malia – who graduated from Harvard in May 2021 – previously had internships on Lena Dunham‘s Girls and at the Weinstein Company film studio before working as a production assistant on Halle Berry‘s CBS sci-fi drama series Extant.
