Domino's has apologised after releasing a pizza which many people found 'insulting'. The Japanese branch of the pizzeria caused uproar after it created a 'special' pizza which combines British and Italian cultures.
A new fish and chips pizza with an Italian basil sparked such an uproar that the official account for Domino's was apologised.
It went viral on social media after one customer jokingly tweeted: "Japan Dominos have invented a dish that insults both England and Italy." The official account replied: "We are sorry our fish and chip pizza has caused so much trouble.
