Ethan Shanfeld Dominic Fike is returning for Season 3 of “Euphoria.” While he was left off a list of new and returning cast members released by HBO on Friday, Variety can exclusively report that the “3 Nights” singer and actor will indeed reprise his role as Elliot in Sam Levinson’s hit high school drama.
Fike is set to shoot a couple of scenes for the show next week, sources say. HBO declined to comment. Fike joined “Euphoria” in its second season, which premiered in January 2022.
He played a guitar-slinging, drug-addicted teen who befriends Rue (Zendaya) and Jules (Hunter Schafer), wrapping them up in a messy love triangle and serving as an obstacle to Rue’s sobriety.
Fike’s talents as a Grammy-nominated recording artist were highlighted in the Season 2 finale, as Elliot performs an original song on the acoustic guitar for Rue.
