The Gleeson brothers are reuniting once more to work on a new series set in Dublin’s fair city. Domhnall and Brian will be writing and starring in the new comedy Frank Of Ireland which is by Sharon Horgan’s production company Merman.
The brothers wrote the script along with Your Bad Self’s Michael Moloney and it will star a host of Irish faces. Also among the cast are Dublin Murders stars Sarah Greene and Tom Vaughan Lawlor.
The series will follow Brian’s Frank Marron – an unsociable musician who is living in Dublin with his mother with Domhnall set to play Frank’s wingman.
Frank Of Ireland is the first time the brothers have collaborated on a comedy script and are said to be ‘excited’ to get started.
