A dog has died in a horror Ayrshire road crash between two vehicles.The tragic pooch was killed after the two motors were involved in a smash on the A78 near Seamill on Thursday at around 2.15pm.Emergency services raced to the scene and there were no reports of any injured people at the crash site but a dog within one of the vehicles had died.Police Scotland has confirmed today that a 26-year-old man has been charged in connection with a road traffic offence.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.15pm on Thursday, August 10, we were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A78 near Seamill. “Emergency services attended and there were no reports of any injured people involved in the incident, however a dog which was within one of the vehicles died. “A 26-year-old man was charged in connection with a road traffic offence and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.” Read next: Don't miss the latest Ayrshire headlines – sign up to our free daily newsletter
