Doctors have been warned to 'think measles' when treating children - and our map highlights the areas that have seen a 'devastating resurgence' of this 'virtually eliminated' disease.
Falling vaccine rates have seen cases of measles soar this year, with the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) notified of twice as many suspected cases as in 2022.
In the last five weeks alone the UKHSA has received 137 notifications of potential measles cases. That includes 30 in London, 20 in Wales, 19 in the West Midlands, and 18 in the North West.
Of local authority areas, Cardiff has seen the most suspected cases, with eight, followed by Birmingham with six. You can see if any of the suspected cases are near you using our interactive map.
