A former NHS doctor has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of a patient at the Royal Oldham Hospital. Isyaka Mamman, 78, is charged with manslaughter following an incident at the hospital.
Shahida Parveen, 48, died following a medical procedure in September 2018. Mamman appeared at Manchester Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on Friday morning (May 20).

In a statement, GMP previously said: "On Monday 3 September 2018 a medical procedure took place at Royal Oldham Hospital which resulted in the death of a patient - 48-year-old Shahida Parveen.
