for a final run with production set to start in 2021.The show follows Clunes’ Dr. Martin Ellingham, a GP with a brusque bedside manner and a phobia of blood, who lives in the idyllic hamlet of Portwenn in CornwallThe cast also features Caroline Catz playing Doc Martin’s wife, Louisa Ellingham, Dame Eileen Atkins, who plays Doc Martin’s formidable Aunt Ruth, Ian McNeice’s local businsssman Bert Large, with Joe Absolom as his son Al.
