Disney Advertising says the company’s streaming platforms collectively racked up an average of 157 monthly active users globally (and 112 million domestic) over the past six months.

The stat release came just prior to the media giant convened its fifth annual Tech and Data Showcase at CES in Las Vegas. For context, Netflix said last November it had reached 70 million MAUs and Fox Corp.’s Tubi earlier this week reported 97 million.

Along with the numbers, Disney also shared methodology for how it arrives at the MAU tally, something that not all streaming players have always done.

In a press release, Disney Advertising said it aims to “define a globally consistent approach and methodology to estimate ad-supported audience numbers.” The ad-supported MAU numbers, Disney said, are derived from active accounts across Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ who have viewed ad-supported content continuously for more than 10 seconds.
