Disney+ confirms release date for Star Wars: Ahsoka
manchestereveningnews.co.ukDisney+ has confirmed the release date and teased a new clip of its latest Star Wars series, Ahsoka. Set after the fall of the Empire, Lucasfilm's Star Wars: Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
Rosario Dawson stars in the title role, with Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla and Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll.
Ahsoka was first introduced in the 2008 The Clone Wars film and subsequent TV series, played by Ashley Eckstein. She was a teen apprentice to Anakin Skywalker and has been on quite the journey since. Now, she will star in her very own mini-series. Also joining the cast is Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth and David Tennant as Huyang.
