Police slammed a "disgraceful" gang of teens for spitting at a key worker on the frontline of the coronavirus crisis. The gang of hoodlums aged 13 to 18 approached the woman as she was getting out her car on Westminster Road, in Ellesmere Port, Merseyside.
Cheshire Police say they started shouting abusive language at her, spat at her and even kicked her car in the unprovoked attack at 6.30pm on Thursday night.
The force didn't reveal the woman's full occupation, but went on to brand the behaviour "completely unacceptable". Officers said the teens had their faces covered with scarves and some of them were riding bikes and shouldn't have been out during the lockdown.
