However, as one phone was lobbed up to him, Van den Bergh misjudged the juggle and catch and it hit him in the face.Unperturbed, the title contender didn’t deny his faithful fan the cherished snap and took the picture before returning the phone with a bit more panache.
Van den Bergh was thrilled with his darts win and, ahead of Finals Night, was going to dive into some fast-food chicken after a Peri good display.He said: “I’ve had to struggle and battle with an injury for the last 18 months, which is a year and a half.
If you know this and you look to what I’ve achieved last year, I’ve had a good year, I’ll take it on board and this year I’m allowed to play without any pain.
