‘Different planet’ - Everton boss Sean Dyche makes claim after ‘bizarre’ Man City penalty call

Onana was penalised after the ball struck his arm while in an unnatural position just past the hour mark. Julian Alvarez eventually stepped up to fire City ahead with goals from Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva seeing the visitors to a 3-1 win.
After full-time, Dyche shared his grievances with the handball law and mooted that “all” other top-flight managers, perhaps including Pep Guardiola, have vented their frustrations at it during calls with refereeing officials. That's completely natural. “He's not putting his arm up to save it, he's literally jumping in to try to block the ball. How that is given as a penalty is bizarre in my world but I must be from a different planet.” Brooks had given the spot kick following quick dialogue with his assistant referee having initially delayed his decision.
