According to Deadline, Showtime has a show in the works. This series would likely be binged by Dexter fans. As viewers will remember, the Trinity Killer was previously portrayed by actor John Lithgow.During the original Dexter series, Trinity aka Arthur Mitchell, killed his victims in threes.
Dexter hunted Trinity, and it backfired. Once Trinity found out Dexter’s identity he reversed the roles and murdered Dexter’s wife Rita before Dexter could kill him.
Although Dexter did claim Trinity as a victim, his life was changed forever.Dexter went on to become a single father to his and Rita’s young son, Harrison.
