Desperate appeal to trace man who disappeared from Highlands village and may be in car

Police have launched a frantic search for a man missing from a Highlands village.John Prentice, 64, was last seen at around 12.30pm on Friday, May 19, in Balintore, near Tain, in the Highlands.

John is described as being 5ft 2in, of stocky build with long grey hair.Police said it is thought he could also be driving a blue Seat Alhambra, with the registration SY17VEK.

When last seen, John was wearing black jogging bottoms and a navy T-shirt with white writing or a picture on it.
