Derek McInnes has revealed that Aberdeen are close to agreeing a deal for Tommie Hoban as a replacement for injured stopper Scott McKenna.
As revealed by earlier this week, Hoban is training with the Dons in an attempt to secure a return to the club he joined on loan at the beginning of last season before injury struck to prematurely call time on the stay.
The former Watford defender is available on a free transfer having recovered from the cruciate injury that stalled his career in the North east in his first spell.
