Denis Law paid touching tribute as phone call to Manchester United great leaves old pal in tears

Midfielder McCalliog made his Scotland debut alongside the King back in 1967, netting in the Wembley triumph over world champions England.

The pair have remained friends with Law penning the foreword to McCalliog’s new autobiography. Former Chelsea, Sheffield Wednesday, Wolves and Manchester United midfielder McCalliog was devastated when he learned just over a month ago that Law is the latest football legend battling Alzheimer’s Disease.
