Jack Grealish has given England a huge boost after Aston Villa boss Dean Smith admitted the star is over his “trepidation” about returning.
Grealish, who has five caps, made his first start for Villa since February in the midweek win at Spurs. He will skipper Villa on the final day at home to Chelsea after previously missing 12 consecutive games with a shin injury.
It has put the star, 25, who has six Premier League goals and 10 assists, back on track to shine for Gareth Southgate's side at the Euros, and banished any lingering doubts Grealish had about his injury, which saw a planned comeback in April aborted.
