With a host of talent to select from his preliminary 33-man squad, the former midfielder can turn to title-winners such as Manchester City’s Kyle Walker, Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling as well as Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho and Tottenham’s Golden Boot-winner Harry Kane.
This has put some big expectations on England, who have not won a major title since lifting the 1966 World Cup at their historic home.
