Fellow DJ Greg James took to the airwaves during his morning show, saying the Radio 1 DJs "cannot be trusted" amid the unfolding "jungle drama" involving Melvin Odoom and Dean McCullough.

They both smuggled banned items into camp, with Dean sneaking in tea bags and Melvin bringing in seasoning, yet all the contestants were penalised for their actions.

Greg mischievously reacted to the situation, questioning the rationale behind discussing such indiscretions on a fully filmed television show after Melvin brought in the condiments.
