Melvin Odoom has revealed that he 'almost quit' I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here after calling for help in the middle of the night.
The BBC Radio 1 star became the fourth campmate to leave the jungle earlier this week following the public vote. Viewers at home were left shocked by the departure, with many saying they thought the presenter would make the final.
Now, Melvin has revealed he almost left earlier and spoke for the first time how he had to be rescued in the middle of the night by a security guard during a storm after crying out for help It came after he woke completely drenched during a storm having barely eaten the night before.
He told the Mirror: "I had my mic on, and I was like, 'Guys, I want help.’ This guy came out like a commando…he had a light on, and he’s like ‘Melvin are you okay, come with me.'"
