David Beckham reveals Victoria always struggled with Brooklyn dating amid Peltz feud

Rumours of a feud between Victoria Beckham and her son Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz have been going on for months, from reports on the Transformers actress snubbing her wedding dress design to claims she cried over her "stolen" first dance song.The 27 year old star and Brooklyn, 23, tied the knot in April this year in a star-studded £3million ceremony held in Florida, solidifying their relationship in front of friends and family.

However, long before Brooklyn married his "best friend" Nicola, his dad David Beckham, 47, spoke of Victoria's difficulty to accept her eldest son was growing up and dating people.

During an appearance on Australia television show The Project back in 2016, the former footballer told viewers: "I think it’s easier for me than Brooklyn’s mum, you know?
