Aberdeen head to West of Scotland junior side Darvel tonight hoping to avoid what would be one of the biggest upsets in Scottish Cup history.Jim Goodwin's side are looking to get their season back on track after losing to Rangers in the Viaplay Cup semi-final at Hampden and being humiliated by Hearts 5-0 in the Premiership at Tynecastle last week.The Ayrshire side, who are flying high in the West of Scotland league, will be hoping to go one further in the Scottish Cup this season after reaching the fourth round in the 2021/22 season.
They were eventually beaten by Arbroath 3-0 at Gayfield last year after seeing off Brechin City of the Highland and Stranraer.Aberdeen are looking to reach the fifth round where they were eliminated by Motherwell last season.
