Aberdeen are looking for their 26th permanent manager after the axe fell yet again at Pittodrie with Jim Goodwin the latest to fail to meet the expectations in the north east.
The Irishman lasted less than a year in the Pittodrie hot-seat after predecessor and former fans favourite Stephen Glass also had a shortlived spell in charge.
It means the pressure is really on Dave Cormack to get his next appointment right. Derek McInnes was long serving and brought much-needed stability, and a League Cup, to Aberdeen during his time at the helm.
But with Cormack taking over from Stewart Milne, it was a new era at the club. And it hasn't gone to plan with two appointments that haven't worked out.
