Danny Glover & Samuel L. Jackson Suit Up To Receive Honorary Oscars at Governors Awards 2022
justjared.comDanny Glover pairs a colorful bowtie with his suit while arriving at the 2022 Governors Awards held at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center on Friday night (March 25) in Hollywood.
The 75-year-old actor was joined on the red carpet by fellow honoree Samuel L. Jackson, as well as Alfre Woodard. Samuel‘s wife LaTanya Richardson and Alfre‘s husband, Roderick Spencer, were also spotted at the event. Danny will be honored with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, while Samuel will receive an honorary Oscar at the event tonight.
The Honorary Oscar is given “to honor extraordinary distinction in lifetime achievement, exceptional contributions to the state of motion picture arts and sciences, or for outstanding service to the Academy.” Additional honorees include Elaine May and Liv Ullman.
