Danny Dyer launched into a rant about UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the 2025 BRIT Awards. See the footage below.Last night’s (March 1) ceremony saw comedian and actor Jack Whitehall returning to host the show for the first time since 2021 and the fifth time overall.Between awards and performances, Whitehall interviewed celebrity audience members, including Dyer, who was sitting next to Horsegirl.Whitehall asked Dyer who would win his BRIT Award for the “Twat of the Year”, to which the actor responded: “There’s so many, the world is being run by cranks at the moment,” before adding: “Probably Sir Keir Starmer.”The response flustered Whitehall who quickly moved towards the next announcement, though he was interrupted again by Dyer who said: “He’s a slag,” in reference to the current Prime Minister.

A clip of him calling former Prime Minister David Cameron a “twat” in 2018 over his failure to stop Brexit has also been widely shared on social media.He joins Stormzy in using the BRITs ceremony to criticise a sitting PM, after the rapper criticised Theresa May during his closing performance at the 2018 awards, saying in a freestyle: “Theresa May where’s the money for Grenfell? / What you thought we just forgot about Grenfell?”Elsewhere in last night’s ceremony, Dyer presented the award for International Song of the Year, which was won by Chappell Roan for her track ‘Good Luck Babe!’.
