The 24-year-old scored the opening goal in the 2-0 Scottish Premiership win over St Johnstone before instantly suffering the after-effects of an accidental head collision with defender Liam Gordon.
The striker was left in agony before the former Feyenoord and Ajax man was rushed straight to hospital to undergo surgery on a compound fracture and start his road to recovery.
Danilo has been posting updates on his Instagram page, including from his hospital bed. And his latest is a big boost to Michael Beale and the Ibrox side.
