Officers began chasing Aaron Williams, 32, after they spotted him driving a car in Queen's Road, Ashton-under-Lyne on March 18.
Further patrol cars were called in to pursue the vehicle and attempt to bring it to a halt. As Williams tried to avoid being caught, he 'drove dangerously' through the streets of Ashton-under-Lyne.
But while attempting force his way through traffic on Gorsey Lane, he collided with two other vehicles. The impact almost led to his car overturning as he crashed into a wall.
