Dancing on Ice judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean were forced to take to social media to apologise to fans after their performance sparked backlash from some disgruntled people.

During the live shows of the previous weekend, the skating duo used a drone during their stunning routine, which was done to the Beatles' hit song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. This bold move sparked frustration from fans as some said they were suffering from motion sickness due to the constant movement of the equipment.

Taking to social media the following week, Torvill and Dean posted: "Hello everyone. Apologies for those who felt uncomfortable watching the drone number."We have always wanted to push boundaries with skating and technology.
