Dancing on Ice fans were left "feeling sick" after ITV producers had tested out high-tech equipment on the show. Many viewers demanded that they would be "switching off" the ITV programme after they'd tuned in to watch ice-skating champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean. The British legends had hoped to win over the audience with show stopping performance that was filmed in one shot by a flying drone.Dancing to the Beatles' Lucy In The Skye With Diamonds, the camera crew were able to film the icons from a very different view point which was off putting to some at home. With the camera circling around the rink, many viewers complained that they had been left feeling dizzy. Many fans tweeted that they'd been overcome with "vertigo" from watching the performance and would therefore be switching channels as a result. One tweet read: "#dancingonice that made me feel sick watching that drone filming."A second agreed: "#dancingonice Well that was a shame, couldn't watch Jayne and Chris via drone - head wrecking, motion sick!""Don't know about anyone else, but that made me feel quite sea sick #DOI #DancingOnIce," wrote a third.A fourth complained: "Routine was great- but you could barely see it and it made me feel like I had vertigo.

Switched it off half way."A fifth begged: "Please please please don't use that drone again. I love watching torvill and dean skate but couldn't watch them this time.
