Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Dancing On Ice’s Bez smashes head on rink in ‘terrifying’ accident days before show launch

Dancing On Ice 2022. Bez, 57, was busy training with dance partner Angela Egan when he took a serious tumble on the ice. The Happy Mondays member was left in a daze after reportedly hitting his head hard on the floor during rehearsals for ITV’s hit show.The accident sent his helmet flying across the rink and prompted skating partner Angela, 35, to come rushing to his side.

Angela can be heard saying, “It’s a good job for your helmet, isn’t it?”“Give yourself a minute,” she told the media personality, as he crouched on the ice holding his head.

He told The Sun: “You have a rink that is full of essentially blades and we know how dangerous they can be and how deeply they can cut and how sharp they are. “I’ve just watched a video of Bez on his second day fall over backwards so hard that his helmet flew off. “Dancing On Ice is really dangerous.They really all risk everything for it. “We’ve seen in the past that people do get hurt and of course you want to avoid that at all cost.
