The former BBC Breakfast presenter revealed on February 20 that he had been knocked off his bike by a car by sharing a series of images of his bloodied and bruised face on social media.
Later, sharing an image of himself with bruises and giving a thumbs up, the 46-year-old added that he had no memory of being hit by a car.
Dan told his Instagram followers: “Just got home from hospital. Battered and bruised but – amazingly – nothing broken. Very thankful to still be here.
