EXCLUSIVE: CBS is looking to expand its firefighter drama footprint beyond the California-based Fire Country with the New York-set Ten House.
The firehouse project, now in development, comes from Two Shakes Entertainment, Damon Wayans Jr.‘s production company with Kameron Tarlow, and CBS Studios where the company has been based since its 2018 launch, recently renewing its first-look deal through May 2026.
Written by Pilar Golden, creator/executive producer of the upcoming Amazon Freevee series Beyond Black Beauty, Ten House takes place at the iconic FDNY Ten House.
It follows two rookies as they grapple with their legacies as children of 9/11 first responders while navigating burgeoning feelings toward one another, the firehouse’s well-trained yet formidable veterans, and the demands of emergency response in the ever-changing yet always challenging city of New York.
