Vera Lynn will be honoured with a Spitfire flypast, before her funeral later today.The We’ll Meet Again singer died on 18 June, aged 103, with her family confirming the sad news in a statement.And crowds are expected to gather in her beloved village of Ditchling, Sussex, to say their final goodbye to the music icon.The cortege is set to leave her family home and pause in the centre of the village, allowing residents to pay their respects.At around midday, a Spitfire and a Hurricane will soar over the area in tribute, before the cortege moves on to the crematorium in Brighton.A bugler from the Royal Marines is providing a musical tribute, and a senior officer from the Ministry of Defence will also join a small group of family members.
